African Penguin Awareness Day

African Penguin Awareness Day is another favourite of ours to focus on and specifically part of our theme this year.
The penguin population is being threatened by over fishing and climate change that is effecting their habitat. We learnt all about the different programmes that have been created down in Cape Town to try and help the Penguins to rehabilitate and bolster their numbers. Like Boulders Beach breeding grounds for example.

We made our penguin masks and did our own little "march" for the cause.
